to consumer online/offline business. 40% growth over prior year. 2004.
- Director, Executive Chairman, interim CEO, PAMECO Corporation. 1996-2000.
IPO, led turnaround and $185 million refinancing/re-capitalization. $400 million
distributor with over 300 locations.
- Director, non-executive Chairman, American Remanufacturers, Inc., the leading
remanufacturer of under car parts with locations in California, Ohio, Mississippi,
Tennessee, Michigan, and Canada. Revenues grew from $50 million to $400
million. 1996-2003.
- Director, Century South Bank, a $1.6 billion bank holding company. Chairman,
Compensation Committee. Sold to BB&T. 1998-2002.
- Chairman Commerce South Bank, $350 million bank holding company. 2001-
2005. Sold to Bank Trust.
- 10 years Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Alabama.

Native of Atlanta, Georgia. Attended The Georgia Institute of Technology before
appointment to The United States Military Academy, majoring in engineering. 1967

Vietnam: Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and Vietnamese Distinguished Service
Medal. Ranger, Airborne, Order of St. Maurice, 2011 Distinguished Graduate West
Point Society of Atlanta.
- Paul Harris Fellow; deacon of First Baptist Church of Eufaula; elder of Peachtree
Presbyterian.
- MBA, Harvard Business School, Finance. Awarded Hay Associates Management
Fellowship.
- Resides with Linda, his wife of 45 years, Atlanta, Georgia. Two daughters: Julie, a
graduate of the University of Alabama, with an MBA in International Business from
Georgia State University, married with two children and lives in Montgomery,
Alabama; Katie graduated from Vanderbilt University and has an MBA in
Marketing from Georgia State University. She is married, has three children and
lives in Atlanta.
